" Where our Students Learn Today to Lead Tomorrow"

Please allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Randall Hart. My hopes and dreams were truly realized when I became principal of this outstanding school in January 2007. I have been so impressed by the students, teachers, and parents, and I commit to doing all within my power to help make Dover Shores an even greater place for your children.

My greatest assets are my loving wife of 33 years, Jan, who has faithfully joined me as we have moved back and forth between the blizzards of the North and the warm beaches of Florida, my children, their spouses, and our two granddaughters.

After graduating from college, I returned to my childhood school and for twelve years taught 5th grade in Grand Rapids, Michigan, while also coaching our high school’s baseball and basketball teams. My master’s degree and PhD are in school administration.

We moved to Orlando in 1989, where I assumed my first administrative position as the middle school principal of Orangewood Christian School in Maitland. Several years later we moved to the Chicago area where I served as the K-8 principal of Timothy Christian School. In recent years I was the headmaster for four years of The Geneva School, located in Winter Park. Having retired from private, parochial schools after serving 26 years, I was truly blessed by making the transition to public schools.

For the past two years I was privileged to serve as an assistant principal at Glenridge Middle and Lakemont Elementary. Having served most of my career as an elementary teacher and principal, I am honored to serve you and the students of this community where we will continue to “do our best and help the rest.” Working together, let us strive to seek even higher levels of achievement for all our students.
